At Copthorne we are fortunate to have beautiful grounds for our children to play in.
We have recently had our outside classroom and sandpit revamped.
We have lovely spacious classrooms that were all redecorated two years ago. Each classroom has its own interactive whiteboard and set of computers for the children to use.
Year 2 Year 1N
We have our own school hall and cook our meals on site. We also run Breakfast Club and After School Care Club from here.
We have lots of fun in our EYFS classroom and outdoor area which we can use all year around. The children love the large home corner, art area and writing cave.
As you can see in some of the photographs the children aren't in school uniform. This is because we do forest school each week either on site or in the local ancient woodland.
The children have been really busy creating beautiful displays all around school to share with their parents online until they can come back into school themselves.
In EYFS we take part in the Teddy Bear Project. The children receive their Teddy before they start school and then they can bring the Teddy to school whenever they want to. The children love having them as part of their learning journey.
We have a room called the Snug where children can go for different support and intervention including Positive Play.
